Project overview

Deploy Tech has developed flat-packed, durable concrete water tanks that are sustainable, easy to transport, and simple to install, addressing common challenges in water management, especially for rainwater harvesting.

Challenge

Water tanks play a vital role in water management and rainwater harvesting. However, conventional options have significant drawbacks. Concrete tanks are expensive, require skilled installation, and are difficult to repair if cracked. Poly tanks are more affordable but bulky to transport, hard to clean, and non-repairable once fractured. They also offer poor thermal insulation, causing stored water to overheat beyond 50°C in summer, often rendering it undrinkable. Both solutions fall short in cost, durability, and usability, particularly when scaled up or used in extreme climates.

Solution

Deploy Tech has developed flat-packed, durable concrete water tanks that are sustainable, easy to transport, and simple to install—tackling key challenges in water management, particularly for rainwater harvesting. This innovation is transforming access to safe water in vulnerable communities. As the world’s most sustainable water tank, Deploy uses 75% less water and emits 77% less CO₂ than traditional concrete, delivering the lowest embodied carbon solution on the market.

Impact

Rapidly deployable and maintenance-friendly, Deploy tanks are already supporting WASH needs for over 135,000 people daily across Ecuador, India, Libya, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Greece, Ghana, and Kenya — with Jordan coming next. It's saving lives, cutting emissions, and scaling impact globally.
